Urbglamp – Urban Glamping Concept
Long Beach, California | 2020
Conceptual site planning and visual development for Urbglamp, a start-up urban glamping venture exploring the adaptive reuse of underutilized industrial-zoned land in Long Beach. The vision reimagined a two-acre site as an elevated urban campground — blending boutique hospitality with the accessibility of a bed-and-breakfast model.
The concept included freestanding luxury tent and dome accommodations, landscaped communal areas, and a primary structure designed to house a caretaker residence and café/kitchen hub. My role focused on developing the overall site strategy, spatial organization, and a signature conceptual rendering used for early marketing, brand definition, and initial investor outreach.
The resulting imagery established the experiential tone of the project — positioning industrial context and urban infrastructure as a backdrop to curated landscape, hospitality, and community gathering.
